How to Mix Solution A & B Without Precipitation
- Never mix concentrated Solution A and Solution B directly together: Calcium Nitrate in Solution A will react with Sulfates and Phosphates in Solution B to form insoluble gypsum precipitates.
- Step 1 (Water Baseline): Fill your reservoir tank with clean, low-iron water (EC < 0.3 mS/cm). If your tubewell water has high iron or TDS, filter through a Hydroponics BD Iron Removal or RO Filter first.
- Step 2 (Add Solution A): Pour the calculated volume of Stock Solution A into the water tank and stir or run the circulation pump for 3 minutes.
- Step 3 (Add Solution B): Pour the equal volume of Stock Solution B into the tank and circulate for 5 minutes.
- Step 4 (Adjust pH): Measure with your Digital pH/EC Meter or HydroSens pH node and add pH Down until pH is between
5.8and6.2.
